This summer, Jimbag will make an appearance at the world’s most important platform for men’s clothing and accessory collections, Pitti Uomo 94. The exhibition will take place from 12th – 15th June 2018 and is the perfect opportunity to show the concept, the product, and its evolution in a coherent, complete way to some of the most important faces in the fashion industry.
The event is situated in Florence, the heart of the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany, and attracts both Italian and international buyers, the last edition of Pitti experienced a +4% growth of foreign buyers (with over 9,200 international buyers in total) making this a perfect opportunity to become more widely recognised in Europe and beyond as we continue to push Jimbag to become a worldwide brand.
Pitti will also expose the brand to a new press audience, last year the event accommodated 3000 journalists, fashion editors and influencers from all over the world accredited for the fair, around 493,000 web pages viewed on the Pitti Immagine site and over 3 million impressions for the Instagram account in the last week. Therefore, with the platform expanding year on year, we are excited to be a part of this year’s show and see the press’ reaction to our British heritage brand – a selling point widely valued by European buyers.
We are hugely appreciative to be accepted as an exhibitor at Pitti the very first time we applied, and respect that it is usually incredibly difficult and takes a number of years for a brand to get this opportunity. We cannot wait to present Jimbag to an international audience of buyers, press and fashion enthusiasts.
Pitti Immagine is an Italian company devoted to promoting the fashion industry worldwide. From the top down, its motivated staff fully believes in the concept of the modern trade fair as an event that is in a constant stage of renewal and development – indeed Pitti Immagine has recently expanded its scope to include other industries such as food and fragrance. According to Pitti Immagine the trade fair must create clear and stimulating relationships involving the exhibitors, their collections and the buyers and public, by offering information, and knowledge.
