Jimbag Partners up with Japanese Distributor Aifa

Jimbag has partnered up with Japanese sports and outdoor distributor Aifa. After a successful meeting between the two company’s CEO’s Anthony Bingham and Keisuke Okuno, a three-year plan has been formed to eliminate the barrier between sports and fashion with the vision of achieving 10,000 pieces by 2020.

With the team of professionals who have a combined experience of 35 years working for internationally renowned sports brand Nike, amongst other big names in the sports industry. With extensive contacts in the retail sport, fashion and footwear industries, owner Okuno has formed a company capable of taking the Jimbag brand to the next level and opening the door to the Far East market.

Moving forward with the partnership, strategic priorities include deployment at famous department stores, with the aim of expanding our presence to 17 department stores in commercial areas, as well as launching an EC site.

Owner of Jimbag Anthony Bingham said:

‘It’s amazing to partner up with Aifa, their wealth of experience and knowledge in the industry will prove vital in the progression of the business, especially with their previous roles with Nike. The Far East has been a big target for us, and with this platform provided through Aifa I am confident we can achieve great success’.

Jimbag is excited to be welcomed into the Aifa team and is honoured to be one of the very few selected quality brands that the sport and outdoor distributor works with, and is optimistic that this partnership can only result in huge accomplishment for both companies.
